Cold chain logistics advanced mode rapid impact on the frozen market

All along, the development of foreign cold chain logistics is more mature, many developed countries in Europe and America have formed a complete food cold chain system.

In the transport process, all using refrigerated trucks or refrigerated containers, coupled with advanced management information technology, has established, including production, processing, storage, transportation, sales, etc.,

fresh and frozen goods, cold chain, so that the fresh goods, frozen, refrigerated transport rate and quality of transport intact rates have been greatly improved.

In recent years, along with our country's economic development, people's living standards continue to improve, recognition of frozen, refrigerated food more and more is also high, quickly pull the frozen, refrigerated food consumption, the increase of about 10% a year. With the rapid growth of production and sales, China's refrigerated logistics industry will enter a period of rapid growth.

But undeniably, refrigerate logistics in our country is still in the primary stage of development, and there exists large refrigerated transportation infrastructure backwardness, transportation loss, cold storage logistics technology

needs to improve, slow development of third-party logistics, circulation channels is not yet perfect, especially the problem of poor infrastructure is the most conspicuous.

Instead of taking a proprietary model of managing its food cold chain logistics, McDonald's outsources its operations to other companies.

McDonald's the reason why the management of cold chain logistics outsourcing, in addition to want to win their own more comprehensive and more professional services, but also in the solution at the same time, the enterprise resources are limited, while more focused on the development of core businesses and bring value-added services.

According to the survey, McDonald's cold chain logistics standards cover fields such as temperature recording and tracking, temperature control, acceptance of goods, setting of temperature monitoring points, establishment of operating system SOP, and the like. Even in the small part of manual labor, there are standards.

In China, McDonald's is still considering the application of logistics service standards and technical standards formulated by some countries to refine the work to various nodes in MRP or VMI systems so as to control and track the entire process.

In addition, the standardization of McDonald's restaurant for all of its unified management, from the demand for employees to the requirement for the manager from the demand for food production to the demand for food transportation,

McDonald's worldwide from beginning to end the execution of a set of standardized management.

McDonald's not only has strict requirements for food transportation and storage, but also has strict standard requirements for loading and unloading of goods.

When carrying the goods, the handling personnel do not come into contact with the goods directly, but put the goods on the pallet for the integral handling.

In doing so, it will not only prevent personnel from touching contaminated food, but will also be able to handle large quantities of goods quickly, thus ensuring the completion of loading and unloading operations within the strict control of the time.

While many companies also take standardization as a technology to deal with, McDonald's has used them to build an effective food safety management system.

In McDonald's view, where there is a demand in production and storage, whether ordinary or frozen food, this standard should be set.

Currently, McDonald's is actively introducing a certification system developed by the US Food Logistics Association and hopes to gradually extend this food standard for US astronauts to the entire food industry.
