What Is The Refrigerant Properties?
Dec 22, 2017

CF2Cl2

Refrigerant 12 (CF2Cl2) code R12

Refrigerant 12 is a colorless, odorless, transparent and almost non-toxic refrigerant. However, when the content of Freon 12 in air exceeds 80%, it can cause suffocation. Freon 12 does not burn nor explode. When it comes into contact with open flame or the temperature reaches above 400 ℃,it can decompose hydrogen fluoride, hydrogen chloride and phosgene (CoCl2) harmful to the human body.R12 is a widely used medium temperature refrigerant applied to small and medium sized refrigeration systems, such as refrigerators and freezers. R12 can dissolve a variety of organic matter,so we can not use the general rubber gasket (ring). Chloroprene elastomers or NBR sheets or seals are commonly used.

CHF2Cl

Refrigerant 22 (CHF2Cl) code R22

R22 does not burn or explode. Its toxicity is slightly larger than R12. Although its water solubility is greater than R12, it may still cause "ice jam" in the refrigeration system. R22 can partially dissolve with the lubricating oil,its solubility changes with the type and temperature of the lubricant. Therefore, the use of R22 refrigeration system must have

oil return measures. The corresponding evaporation temperature of R22 at standard atmospheric pressure is -40.8

°C. Condensing pressure at room temperature does not exceed 15.68 × 105 Pa. Its unit volume and cooling capacity is 60% more than R12. In air conditioning equipment R22 refrigerant is widely used.

CHF2F3

Tetrafluoroethane R134a (CH2FCF3) code R13

R13 is a non-toxic and pollution-free refrigerant with the highest safety. It is widely used in refrigeration equipment, especially in the refrigerant on the high requirements of the instrument.
